Sebastian Valet
Welcome!
I'm a doctoral student in economics, specializing in the economics of AI, industrial organization, and experimental economics. My research explores competition dynamics in digital markets and the role of AI in shaping user behavior and human decision-making more broadly. I use a combination of online experiments and observational data analysis to address these questions at the intersection of technology and economic behavior.
In the fall semester 2025, I am visiting Chiara Farronato and the Platform Lab at the Harvard D^3 Institute. I'm always happy to connect to talk about research on the economics of digital platforms, AI, and user behavior, or share opinions on the Celtics' off-season moves.
